No, looking homeless is not the look of the year. I truly hate that look. I stay away from vintage looking clothing (washed, holes, faded, etc). Why pay prime dollars to look like a hobo?
Look at the Michael Kors Collection for Spring/Summer 2011 and you will see the difference. Sure, it is more expensive than H&M but the cut, quality, and look are better as well.

The first model wore more of a couture style while the second wore more… for lack of a better word – “wearable” items. That’s probably why.
So looking homeless is the “in” thing this year…
